Yikes! My grandfather used to say "a day late and a dollar short". That would be me this week. How do I keep falling behind? I'd better figure this out! Here are this week's Friday Favorites...
We got all of our solar lights set up around the backyard. It makes me smile to look out at night and see all of that soft lighting along our fencing. We will put the front lights in tomorrow...
if it doesn't rain!
I really like this tulip and neroli candle. I have no idea what neroli is but it sure smells good!
My friend, JoAnne made this stained glass piece for me many years ago. It hangs in my kitchen window and every time I see it I think of her. She lives in Florida now so I don't see her.
We got our first Misfits Market order and we were very pleased. I'll talk more about it in a later post.
Hubby and our oldest grandson raised the backyard feeder about three feet so that I can
see the birds from my chair in the living room.
This is my all time favorite thing this week... probably this month. Cooper came to swim and after he got out of the pool, he asked for a drink. I told him he could get something out of the little refrigerator. He found an orange soda but it was cold and he wanted a "cup warmer" (koozie) so it wouldn't make his hand cold. I told him where to find one and before he came back outside he left this note on the freezer. The photo is awful but you can read the message. Cooper is eight and he is on the Spectrum, so this message, written spontaneously and from the heart is so very special to me, especially knowing how much he does not like to write.
Just makes my heart smile...
And that's it for this week. What were some of your favorite things?
Stay safe and well
Thanks for dropping by...
